Being able to go full-circle with our clients has been our favorite part of being photographers.
I had first met Thomas and Lisa right before shooting their wedding three and a half years ago. Meeting both of their amazing families and witnessing the union from the beginning was such an honor. Thomas and Lisa’s wedding was the very first wedding I had ever shot and it was such a fun day. I truly learned so much from it.
A few years after, we had the opportunity to shoot Lisa’s baby shower and their firstborn (Vivi’s) newborn session. Purav actually had been friends with Thomas (prior to me shooting their wedding, which I had no idea- such a small world!). So the baby shower was a blast, being able to hang out with friends and still do what we love at the same time.
I shot Vivi’s newborn session right around the time that I began to truly fall in love with newborn photography, so of course sharing this with them made it even more special.
This past December I was able to meet and shoot the newest addition to the family, Asher. Seeing little Vivi interact with her new baby brother and just simply seeing how much this family has grown in three years was so heart warming.
Being a part of the growth of families is seriously such a sweet blessing. It is crazy how quickly each stage of our lives passes us and having photographs that document these stages is a treasure. Photographs hold so much emotion and it is literally all we have to hold on to.
Lisa and Thomas, thank you so much for allowing me to be a part of your growing family the past few years. It has and will always be such an honor.
